Tommie Lewis, Senior Consultant

Tommie offers a robust knowledge and expertise in performance coaching, leader development, organizational engagement and global diversity spanning corporate, public, government, education and not-for-profit sectors. Tommie has been sought after to provide leadership, employee development and diversity consultancy across the nation.

Tommie also offers more than 26 years in relationship management and project coordination. Mr. Lewis served as the project coordinator for several diversity and inclusion projects/initiatives for entities, such as, State of Ohio, Turner Construction, HGC Construction, Hamilton County Job and Family Services, Montgomery County Job and Family Services, United Way of Greater Cincinnati, FirstEnergy and the University of Dayton Law School.   A current project is as an Inclusion Excellence consultant for the University of Cincinnati, where he is responsible for providing advice and direction in relation to the UC Diversity & Inclusion Strategic Plan, President’s Diversity Council, Diversity Advisory Council, Bias Incident Response Team and campus-wide cultural competency training for administrators, faculty, staff and students.  Another related project is that with Cincinnati Public Schools where he conducted train-the-trainer sessions and developed the program curriculum for the M.O.R.E. program. 

Mr. Lewis’ leadership is acknowledged as a board trustee on several boards, including, but not limited to, the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Diverse by Design Committee, Camp Joy, Peaslee Neighborhood Center, UC ADVANCE Program, INROADS Greater Cincinnati-Dayton, Inc. and the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges (OFIC).

Tommie Lewis holds degrees and certifications in Africana Studies from Tennessee State University; Egyptology and Deep Thought from the University of Chicago; International & Cross Cultural Management from the University of Houston and Emotional Intelligence and Diversity from the Emotional Intelligence and Diversity Institute (UCLA).  He has also completed the Coaching Across Cultures executive coaching seminar in Rome, Italy.
